Pris IPTV is a media player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, made by Pris IPTV ("we"). This page explains what information is used when you use the app and this website, and why. We keep it to the minimum the app needs to work.
Your playlists stay on your TV
The Xtream Codes logins and M3U links you add are stored on your TV only. We don't collect them, and we can't see what you watch.
If you use Add from your phone, the details you type on your phone pass through our server to reach your TV. They are held in memory only (never saved to disk or a database) and are deleted as soon as your TV collects them, or after 10 minutes at the latest.
Licensing and the free trial
To give each TV its free trial and licence, the app sends our licence server:
- an identifier for your TV, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form;
- the kind of device (Android TV or Fire TV) and, once you are a customer, the TV model and app version;
- the dates of your trial and licence, and your activation code.
While you are only in the free trial, we keep nothing that identifies you or your TV beyond the scrambled identifier and trial dates.
Problem reports
For customers, when a channel or film fails to play, the app can send a short report (the channel or title name, the error and the provider's server name, with any username or password removed) so we can spot and fix problems. Reports are kept for up to 30 days.
Other services the app uses
- Your provider: the app connects directly to the server in your playlist to load channels, films and guides. Their privacy policy applies to that.
- Subtitles: if automatic subtitles are on, the title of what you're watching (and a fingerprint of the video file) is sent to OpenSubtitles or SubDL to find subtitles. You can switch this off in Settings.
- Faster connections: if your TV is slow to find your provider's server, the app may look up that server's address using Google or Cloudflare public DNS. Only the server name is sent.
- Payments: if you buy a licence, payment is handled by the payment provider (such as PayPal). We receive confirmation of the payment, not your card details.
This website
If you use our contact form, we receive what you type: your email address, your message and, if you add them, your name, activation code and TV model. We use them only to answer you, and delete messages 12 months after we receive them.
This website uses no cookies, trackers or analytics. Like any website, our server may briefly record technical information such as IP addresses in its logs for security and to prevent abuse.
Keeping and deleting information
Trial records that are never used again are removed automatically. When a record is removed, we keep only a scrambled identifier of the device (from which the device can't be identified) and the dates of its free trial, so the same device isn't given the free trial twice. To have your licence record deleted, email us with your activation code.
Children
Pris IPTV is not directed at children. A parental PIN is available in Settings.
